As a student, I have many opportunities to find teammates in every class. Many people tend to select their good friends time after time because they have known each other and it’s easy to find common views. But my preference is really different from that; the union of differently minded people can offer me good chances to develop my flexibility towards various situations by dealing with different people. Familiar people know each other’s way, and they might be apt to compromise too easily.

Instead of compromise, teammates with different ideas will pay more attention to the relations and communication between each other and more meaningful conclusions will be presented at the final moment. Maybe we need a little time to eliminate mutual arguments, but the diverse outcome will make our work go smoothly.

This week, I heard an exciting piece of news about a competition of working models of Industrial electronic commerce. The competitors can learn a lot from the industry they participate in and it’s impossible to learn these lessons from school. But the presupposition is that we must form a team and really pay attention to this part. So I spent almost an entire day informing my classmates and finding my teammates with the same goal on Tuesday. In this process, I even told to one of my classmates that if we don’t have the same interest in one of the industry, it’s better to find a suitable one or form another group.

Just because people have the same goal does not mean that they will think  the same. A group without diversity will not end in creativity, that’s the reasoning I mentioned above and why I want to collaborate with new people. A person can’t understand himself thoroughly unless he interacts with other people and receives different feedback. When our teammates are affirmed in that night, the most important job is to find our guidance teacher. Before I started to look for teammates, I decided the best selection and told to my classmates. As the phone was ringing on the other end, I felt nervous but was gradually delighted with what I had finished. The teacher’s answer  corresponded to my expectations and I knew I’d done a good job. From here on, the real story starts…
