cut one's losses　認賠出場，斷尾求生

字面上的意思是「斷掉某人的損失」，其實就是商場上所謂的「認賠殺出」，覺得眼前的損失根本是個超級黑洞，此時就應該當機立斷，「斷尾求生」cut one's losses！
