It's been several months since I joined Ale Toastmasters Club. I think if's lucky for me to join this kind of club to practice English. Though my improvement won't be fast, I could develop my habit using English, including thinking and writing. Of course I have opportunity to practice my listening and speaking skills in the club.

It would be boring if I only want to improve my English in this kind of club, just like another English class. I can know more people in different field of works and have happy time with them. And I'm fortunately to be Vice President of Education in the club. Managing agenda in every meeting is my major work, and it makes me to have the whole aspect to consider every member’s situation to determine everyone can get advancement in each meeting. Firstly, I merely belonged to a listener and only when the schedule comes to the introduction of guest can I have the chance to say something before I joined this club. When I became a member, I might be assigned roles like timer or ah-counter to help others doing their speech. When I understood the whole process of the meeting, I would start to deliver my own speech from the ice breaker introducing myself to other topics. Besides those roles mentioned above, master of table topics control the discussion that day and invite members to express their opinions immediately. If I had finished more and more speeches in toastmaster, I could stand for evaluator to help one speaker finding his strengths and weakness. The most important of all, grammarian will listen to the whole words we use in the meeting and find the faults we have made. Practice by errors, it's our belief to polish our skill in English.

Besides English, I learn more being an officer in this club. We form an environment for everyone to using English freely and we learn from each other.
